ROLE SUMMARY
This role supports the delivery of employee engagement initiatives and internal communications designed to foster a positive employee experience and inclusive culture. Working collaboratively with the team, the employee engagement and communications specialist helps to execute engagement programs, craft compelling internal communications, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of engagement activities.
What you’ll do
- Support initiatives that promote company values, recognition programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts to build an inclusive culture.
- Collaborate with the Head of People and Culture and team members to coordinate and help execute an employee engagement calendar and communication strategies that align with business priorities.
- Assist in planning and delivering engagement initiatives, events, and campaigns to enhance team morale, connection, and sense of belonging.
- Help maintain and update the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) calendar, ensuring activities align with recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support and promote the company's EVP through internal and external channels.
- Draft, edit, and deliver employee-related communications, ensuring they are clear, engaging, and consistent with the company’s tone and culture.
- Help maintain open communication channels and raise awareness of employee resources and support programs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and meet their communication needs.
- Stay informed about best practices in employee engagement and communications, sharing relevant insights and recommendations with the team.
- Collect and analyze feedback, survey data, and engagement metrics to contribute to continuous improvement of engagement initiatives.
- Support the preparation of regular reports on engagement metrics and assist with recommendations for enhancing the employee experience.

Essential for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications, or a related role within an MNC.
- Experience supporting engagement calendars, assisting in communication strategies, or contributing to Employer Value Proposition (EVP) initiatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, able to create clear and engaging messages for diverse audiences.
- Organizational and basic project management skills; able to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to think creatively and support innovative engagement and communication initiatives.
- Analytical skills to collect and interpret engagement data and feedback.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships across the organization.
- A deep understanding of fostering inclusivity and respect in the workplace, with a commitment to promoting diversity and equity.
Desirable for the role
- Experience in working with external agencies on content development or engagement activities.
- Experience in change management projects.
